Meet Madison
Call it nerdy, but this story begins in the high school yearbook room, where Madison earned the role of Editor-in-Chief—and an award for best overall creative direction.
At the time, her future career path hadn’t quite clicked, as she equally loved fashion and was determined to find a way to fuse the two.
It soon became New York or nowhere, so at just 17 she moved to NYC, the city that’s your campus and classroom.
She landed an internship with The Editorialist, later became Art Director, and freelanced within wellness, beauty, and fashion industries, including projects for brands like Moda Operandi.
She started getting numerous requests for logo design, while fighting the temptation to succumb to the 9 to 5.
While designing on the side, she was also interviewing; for a dream job, in fact. Turns out, said dream job wasn’t a dream after all …
[she] put form to her brand in February of 2021.
So she dug deep into her design skill set, equipped herself with the training she needed, and put form to her brand in February of 2021.
If you ask Madison about the winding road that led her here, she might tear up. It truly makes her emotional to be able to love what she does so much, and to be able to share what’s she’s learned with others.
That’s the kind of energy By Madison & Co. now shares with its clients.
In our work as designers, we saw a major gap in the industry when it came to anything but average brand photography.
So we made it our mission to provide both bespoke and accessible, “Off the Shelf” art direction—plus branding and website design, for the innovators of any industry.
